Pam Ochoa comes from a family of educators and loved listening to her parents, aunts and uncles discuss school during family gatherings. During her 34 years in education, she has taught English Language Arts in grades six through eleventh, Sixth grade Gifted Reading, World Geography, United States History, Texas History, and one year of seventh grade Science.  She feels more at home in English. She received her masters in Gifted Education and served as a Gifted and Talented Specialist.

She believes in continuing education, and when teachers are taught how to hone their craft using student focused principles, it transforms classrooms, schools and inspires their students. 

Pam is an Abydos Learning International Diamond level trainer and has trained teachers in the teaching of writing and reading for 26 years. She provides professional development for those who want to become more student centered in their instructional approach. She was an Instructional Coach where she worked with Jacob Chastain and collaborated on the Craft and Draft Notebook system. She now teaches seventh graders in Ft. Worth.
